Ana

Now I would like to talk about playing Ana, because she is my favorite healer and I don't think she is always played correctly in the lower ranks. Ana Is a healer that excels at sitting in the back and healing up her team with her healing darts and neutralizing enemies that may happen to break through into her team. As Ana you should always be looking at your teammates health bars and being sure to fire at and heal up any teammates who are taking damage, paying especially close attention to your tanks. Ana's primary fire is a dart that damages enemies or heals teammates. This means that you cannot shoot through teammates and damage enemies like you can with other characters so be careful about that. While scoped in, Ana's shots are hit scan meaning that hit immediately, but when not scoped, her shots have a bit of travel time you'll have to account for. Ana's shift ability is a sleep dart that will put enemies to sleep for a period of time, taking them out of the fight and canceling some enemy ultimates. I recommend using units ability when an enemy breaks into your team so that you can lock them down making them easier to hit, or even an enemy uses an ultimate so you will stop it, saving your team. Be careful because once an enemy is attacked they will wake up immediately. Ana's E ability is a healing grenade that will heal allies hit and increase healing done to them for a few seconds, or damage enemies and negate all healing done to them for a few seconds. I recommend using this when a teammate is in a hard fight and will need healed a lot, or when an enemy is fighting and will need to have their heading cut. This ability counters Zenyatta ultimates very effectively. Ana's ultimate ability is a nano boost that when given to an ally, makes them take less damage and deal a lot more damage than they normally would. I recommend using this ability when a teammate used their ultimate to increase their damage output, for example it works really well with Genji, Reinhardt, and Roadhog. As Ana you are able to put out some damage but try to remember to stay behind your team and focus more on healing allies than doing anything else most of the time because it will keep your allies in the fight and stop you from being vulnerable to being picked off, which would leave your team without heals.
