Hanzo

Hanzo is my second favorite defensive character and can be incredibly strong if played correctly, so I would like to talk a little bit about him. Hanzo is a very strong sniper who should be played from the back lines of the team and should focus on sniping enemy healers and dps characters. The best place to be with Hanzo is somewhere high where you can keep all enemies in your line of sight and be able to get shots off at them. His primary fire is a shot from his bow that does more damage the longer it charges up meaning you should usually be aiming for the head and firing full power shots. Be careful though because there is some travel time on Hanzo's arrows so they will not hit as soon as you release them. Hanzo's passive allows him to climb walls so be sure to use this to your advantage to get you up on high buildings and  ledges to get better shots at the enemy. The shift ability is a sonic arrow that gives vision of an area for a short period of time. It is important to use this ability to get vision around corners and then wait for enemies to come around the wall or corner and surprise them with that head shot. The E ability is a scatter arrow that scatters in all directions after hitting a target. This is useful for taking out enemies that have cornered themselves in rooms since the arrows will bounce off walls, and is also very useful for taking out enemies in one shot by shooting it into the ground at their feet angled into them, and letting all of the scattering arrows fly into them at one time. Hanzo's ultimate ability is an arrow that unleashes a dragon that flies across the map in a straight line heavily damaging all enemies in its path. This ult is great for locking down teams in close quarters or in combination with ultimates from teammates like Mei and Zarya that can hold the enemy in place for it. It is very important to move around and keep changing positions as Hanzo so you do not get spotted and taken out by the enemy team. Many people do not like to have Hanzo on their team and may say something to you about not playing him but if you want to get better it is best to ignore these people and play him anyways as long as you are doing good with him, and maybe consider switching if you start to do bad.
